The Department of Interactive Media Design offers a four-year undergraduate program that enables students to understand and grasp the principles, theories, and practical aspects of communication design. In this program, communication design is approached in the context of new digital phenomena—such as interactive interfaces, multimedia, next-generation communication technologies, and information architecture—with a focus on presenting information and ideas—comprising text, sound, and images—in the most effective manner across various presentation environments.
The program admits candidates with well-developed visual and creative thinking skills and analytical intelligence, who are open to developing their design perspective.
At the end of the 8-semester educational program, the program graduates designers who, within an interdisciplinary art environment, have developed 2D and 3D perceptions, are capable of producing multimedia objects, understand the underlying technologies of these media, have developed design management skills, think outside the box, and have acquired a “Designer’s Vision.”
